Esther 1:22

SV	En hij zond brieven aan al de landschappen des konings, aan een iegelijk landschap naar zijn schrift, en aan elk volk naar zijn spraak, dat elk man overheer in zijn huis wezen zou, en spreken naar de spraak zijns volks.
WLC	וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח סְפָרִים֙ אֶל־כָּל־מְדִינֹ֣ות הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ אֶל־מְדִינָ֤ה וּמְדִינָה֙ כִּכְתָבָ֔הּ וְאֶל־עַ֥ם וָעָ֖ם כִּלְשֹׁונֹ֑ו לִהְיֹ֤ות כָּל־אִישׁ֙ שֹׂרֵ֣ר בְּבֵיתֹ֔ו וּמְדַבֵּ֖ר כִּלְשֹׁ֥ון עַמֹּֽו׃ פ
Trans.	wayyišəl^aḥ səfārîm ’el-kāl-məḏînwōṯ hammeleḵə ’el-məḏînâ ûməḏînâ kiḵəṯāḇāh wə’el-‘am wā‘ām kiləšwōnwō lihəywōṯ kāl-’îš śōrēr bəḇêṯwō ûməḏabēr kiləšwōn ‘ammwō:

AC	כב וישלח ספרים אל כל מדינות המלך--אל מדינה ומדינה ככתבה ואל עם ועם כלשונו להיות כל איש שרר בביתו ומדבר כלשון עמו {ס}
ASV	for he sent letters into all the king's provinces, into every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language, that every man should bear rule in his own house, and should speak according to the language of his people.
BE	And sent letters to all the divisions of the kingdom, to every division in the writing commonly used there, and to every people in the language which was theirs, saying that every man was to be the ruler in his house, and that this order was to be given out in the language of his people.
Darby	And he sent letters into all the king's provinces, into every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people according to their language, That every man should bear rule in his own house, and should speak according to the language of his people.
ELB05	Und er sandte Briefe in alle Landschaften des Königs, in jede Landschaft nach ihrer Schrift, und an jedes Volk nach seiner Sprache: daß jeder Mann Herr in seinem Hause sein und nach der Sprache seines Volkes reden solle.
LSG	Il envoya des lettres à toutes les provinces du royaume, à chaque province selon son écriture et à chaque peuple selon sa langue; elles portaient que tout homme devait être le maître dans sa maison, et qu'il parlerait la langue de son peuple.
Sch	und sandte Briefe in alle Provinzen des Königs, in jede Provinz nach ihrer Schrift und zu jedem Volk nach seiner Sprache; daß jeder Mann Herr sein solle in seinem Hause. Das ließ er bekanntmachen in der Sprache seines Volkes.
